Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Flourish Life website and any order you place with us. By browsing this site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this site or place an order.

About Flourish Life

Flourish Life is a South African brand making fragrance-free body and home care products by hand, in small batches, using real ingredients.

Products, pricing & availability

We make every effort to describe and display our products accurately, but we do not warrant that product descriptions, photography, or other content on this site are complete, current, or error-free. All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue a product, or correct pricing or listing errors at any time, including after an order has been placed.

Handmade products & natural variation

Our products are handcrafted in small batches, not mass-produced on an automated line. Because of this, minor variation in colour, scent, texture, consistency, and weight, between batches and occasionally within the same batch, is a normal and expected characteristic of handmade goods, not a defect or fault. Natural ingredients can also vary slightly from harvest to harvest, which may lead to small differences from what is shown in product photography.

For the same reason, our products are not sealed with a tamper-evident factory seal. The absence of such a seal is standard for our packaging and does not, on its own, indicate that a product has been opened, tampered with, or is otherwise defective.

Orders & payment

An order is only confirmed once payment via PayFast has successfully cleared. We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order, including where a product has become unavailable, where we suspect fraudulent or unauthorized activity, or where a pricing or listing error has occurred. If we cancel an order after payment, you will receive a full refund for the affected item(s).

Delivery areas, fees, and timelines are set out on our Shipping Info page. Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed; we are not liable for delays caused by our courier partners or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Returns & refunds

Given the handmade and unsealed nature of our products, our returns and exchanges are limited as described in our Returns & Refunds policy. That policy forms part of these Terms.

Intellectual property

All content on this site, including text, product photography, graphics, and the Flourish Life name and logo, is owned by or licensed to Flourish Life and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our prior written consent.

Product use & liability

Our products are intended for external, topical use only and should be used as described on the product packaging or listing. If you have sensitive skin, known allergies, or are pregnant or breastfeeding, we recommend performing a patch test and, where appropriate, consulting a healthcare professional before use. Discontinue use and seek medical advice if irritation occurs.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Flourish Life is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from the use or misuse of our products. Nothing in these Terms limits any right or protection you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any dispute arising from them will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our products, processes, or the law. The updated version will take effect as soon as it is posted on this page, so please check back periodically.
